North Carolina LLC Annual Report: $200, Due April 15
North Carolina LLCs file an annual report with the Secretary of State's Business Registration Division every year, and the fee is $200 on paper or $203 online. The extra $3 online is the electronic filing fee for credit cards; paying by ACH adds $2 instead.
The report is due April 15 of each year after the year of creation. The first one is due by April 15 of the year following the calendar year in which the articles of organization became effective.

What the report asks for
The report lists the registered office and agent, the principal office and phone number, the principal company officials and a brief description of the business. Changing the registered agent's name may require filing by mail.
If you miss April 15
North Carolina lists no late fee. The Secretary of State may administratively dissolve an LLC that does not deliver its annual report on or before the 60th day after it is due. It mails a notice, and the LLC is dissolved if it does not correct the problem within 60 days after the notice is mailed. Reinstatement after administrative dissolution costs $100, plus filing the delinquent annual reports and paying their fees. If another business has since taken the name, the LLC has to change its own name first.
